I Am Legend

After watching the hit movie, I Am Legend, I decided to review it.  The movie was well written and took out most of the guesswork.  The movie starts out with a news scene talking about a new cure for cancer.  The scene then pans to 3 years later and we see the results of the cure for cancer.  The movie is a horror/survival movie, and plays out like one.  It is very interesting that they had the main character to a video diary every day to provide the moviegoers with the information instead of him rambling on to no one but himself.  The movie takes a turn when his last friend, his dog, dies in a mutant attack, so he tries to go on a rampage to kill the mutants until he is dead.  He is rescued from certain doom by a woman and a child who came looking for him because they heard him on the radio.  The movie gets very actiony after that, with plenty of explosions.  This movie is great and definately worth buying and watching it twice.
